2008 Celebrity Soccer Shoot Out for Concern

A variety of personalities joined The National Dairy Council stand each day of the 2008 National Ploughing Championships, in Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny, as part of a Celebrity Soccer Shoot-out to try to raise funds and build awareness for the charity Concern.

The soccer shoot out concept was developed by the NDC with the support of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) to try to raise funds and build awareness for Concern in its 40th Anniversary year – but also to highlight the fun of participating in sports as part of a balanced lifestyle.
