Progress Communications supported Irishmobiles.com with its launch in Spring 2000.  It was the first Irish web site allowing you to buy mobile phones and accessories on-line.   Pictured at the launch were Barry Maloney, Chief Executive, Digiphone;  Sharon O’Connor and the Clonakilty based entrepreneur who developed the project, Tom Sheehy.

First Feile Bia – Celebration of Irish Food

Progress Communications worked with the Restaurants Association of Ireland for the launch of the inaugural Feile Bia.

It was the first wide scale collaboration between the membership of the key representative bodies in this sector to celebrate Irish cuisine – involving the RAI, Euro-Toques Ireland, Panel of Chefs of Ireland, Chefs & Cooks of Northern Ireland, Epicurean World Master Chefs Society, Irish Hotels Federation and the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation.

Five month old Zach Daly was the youngest shareholder in Waterford United Football Club plc when his father, Joe, from Halfway House, bought shares in trust for Zach.  Zach celebrated by meeting up with one of Waterford United longest standing supporters, 76 year old Margot White from Summer Hill, who was a fan of the ‘blues’ since 1946.
