NDC Packaging Mark Launched

Pictured at the introduction of the NDC Mark were: Dominic Cronin, Chairman and Henry Corbally, Vice Chairman of the NDC, with Chief Executive Helen Brophy.

The National Dairy Council (NDC) introduced a packaging mark to give consumers in the Republic of Ireland the assurance that they are supporting thousands of local jobs, because the milk or cream they are purchasing has been farmed and processed in the Republic of Ireland, supporting 2,193 local dairy farm families and 2,483 jobs in local dairies and co-ops.  Progress Communications helped with the co-ordination between the various dairies involved and manage media relations for the NDC.
